Faculty of Engineering was founded in 1964 in the current location of Engineering Building having enrolled total number of 30 students, 29 males and 1 female. This faculty consists of departments of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Materials Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, and Petroleum, Gas, and Chemical Engineering. Currently, this faculty consists of Department of Materials Engineering and the Department of civil and Environmental Engineering. Faculty of Engineering offers undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs and currently has 415 students at the undergraduate level, 196 at the master's level and 126 are studying at the doctoral level.
